8:05 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Mark Long seeking approval for change order #6 from Mike McSwain Architects and M&M Builders in regards to the Bossier Levee District Improvement Project in the amount of $36,493.00.
8:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Ryan Estess with Raley and Associates is requesting a 50’ encroachment permit along the 100’ BLD Control Area on Willow Chute Bayou for a re-plat for McLemore Plantation, Unit 4. (PERMIT #2019 - 38)
8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Bill Jones and Robert Gatti, on behalf of Viking Investments, LLC is requesting to install a drainage outlet pipe (RCP) 24” diameter within the 100’ BLD Control Area in order to discharge waters into Benoit Bayou. (PERMIT #2019 - 39)
8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. William Long with DDR & E Investments, LLC is requesting permission for a permanent encroachment of the BLD’s easement for Lot 1, Willow Chute Commercial Subdivision, Unit No.1, (5510 Airline Drive) for the construction of a 2,500 square foot building with parking spaces for retail space on the north end of the property. (PERMIT #2019 - 40)
9:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. Butch Ford, Parish Engineer and Eric Hudson is requesting an after the fact permit on behalf of the BPPJ for a prior emergency situation where 2 8’ culverts that collapsed were replaced with 1 10’ culvert on Le Oaks Drive that crosses Willow Chute Bayou and provides the only access to Oak Creek Subdivision. (PERMIT #2019 - 41)
9:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Summit Minerals, LLC on behalf of Spring Street Partners, LLC and represented by Chris Sullivan with Sullivan’s Irrigation, is requesting a French Drain and outfall pipe to flow into Mack’s Bayou to redirect water away from a building at Village Square Apartments located at 2687 Village Lane. (PERMIT #2019 – 42)
9:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Kenneth Smith with Smith Engineering on behalf of Total Properties is requesting the use and occupancy of a portion of the outer 50 feet of the district’s 100 foot wide Access and Maintenance Easement along the right descending bank of Willow Chute Bayou, located in the southwest quarter of the Airline Drive and Vanceville Road intersection, for a parking area for a proposed 7500 square foot Dental Clinic. (PERMIT #2019 – 43)
