VI. REQUESTS BY VISITORS
A. Micha Duffy, Coyle Engineering Co, Inc. – representing Mr. Zeyad Rahman, LLC, is requesting a permit to construct a new retail shopping center located at 2112 Airline Drive and encroach 50’ into the Bossier Levee District Control Area on Lateral B-1 Ditch.
B. Donnie Barker, Mohr and Associates, Inc. on behalf of the developer, Bellaire Baptist Church, represented by the Pastor, Randy Harper requests a Permit to encroach along the high bank of Flat River for the installation of new drainage facilities for the proposed Victoria Meadows Subdivision - Unit 3. Also, to continue discussions regarding concerns with potential drainage issues into Flat River, Unit 2 that are still pending.
C. James DeLaune, Manchac Consulting Group – representing the City of Bossier City, is requesting a permit for the installation of a 12” Ductile Iron Gravity Sewer Main and 16” PVC Water Main crossing under Benoit Bayou Lateral.
D. Ryan Estess, Raley and Associates, Inc, - representing the City of Bossier City, is requesting a permit for the new Innovation Drive Extension and Benoit Bayou Lateral Improvements.
E. Michan Holbrook, Coyle Engineering – on behalf of Willow Heights, LLC is requesting approval to encroach 10 feet inside the BLD’s Control Area to allow for fencing, water detention pond, outfall pipe, and a 20’ utility servitude.
F. Reggie Lewis, Raley & Associates, Inc. - Discussion and review of the proposed Tiburon Subdivision Unit No. 9 plats.
G. Brit Framel, GEP Haynesville LLC, representing - Acadian Land Services, Jacob Champion are requesting approval for construction, maintenance, upkeep and use of a new proposed access road running parallel to the Red Chute Bayou Levee to be used as access for an existing well site and for future well sites.

Brit Framel, GEP Haynesville LLC, representing - Acadian Land Services, Jacob Champion are requesting approval for construction, maintenance, upkeep and use of a new proposed access road crossing and running parallel to the Red River Levee to be used as access for an existing well site and for future well sites.

A. Mark Long, Operations Coordinator to discuss a homeowner’s concern and request. Mr. John Cordaro resides at 2437 Brookside Drive, Bossier City and backs up to Flat River where Phase 5 of the Flat River Bank Stabilization Project was completed in 2012. Work has been done in the past in this area of concern. Recently, on April 24 th , 2018 he requested that the Bossier Levee District look at his yard and expressed complaints of subsidence and sink holes in his yard and doors not closing properly. The Bossier Levee District is seeking approval for an engineer to inspect his property and also the discussion to potentially purchase the home by his request.
B. Mark Long, Bossier Levee District to discuss the Red Chute Culvert Rehab Project. He is seeking approval based on the low quote from Cambridgemoen, LLC for $138,317.52.
C. Mark Long seeking approval to hire outside contract personnel to video Red River and Red Chute culverts – (No quotes recv’d).
D. The Nominating Committee will discuss and elect a slate of officers to be held on the Board for the 2018-2020 term.
E. Deanna Rabb, Asst. Secretary seeking approval for a $150.00 check to be issued for Petty Cash.
